One of England’s most decorated soccer players, Steve McManaman has no shortage of memorable moments from his career as a midfielder. After nine years at Liverpool and winning the FA Cup and League Cup, he transferred to Real Madrid in 1999. And during his four years on the team, he made history by becoming the first English player to win the UEFA Champions League with a non-English club and the first English player to win the Champions League twice. After winning LaLiga twice, he transferred to Manchester City in 2003 to finish out his career in the same league where he got his start.
